Red Velvet Cake

Red Velvet Cake @ dlm versi laen Kek Baldu Merah.....bukan main famous lagi kek nie skrg....Masuk jer mana2 blog mesti ada punyaaa....Kek nie terkenal sbb warna and rasa nyer. Ditambah pula dgn cream cheese topping, wallahhhhhh enak bangat...merah tue kan menarik tertarik kau mmng debooommm...hehe...Tp tue lh, merah tue dah sah2 dah dari pewarna merah...makan pewarna bnyk2 nie kn xberapa bagus.


Maka terpulang lh pada yg mmbuat, samada nk jadikan kek tue merah ke...xberapa merah ker....ataupn xnk letak langsung...xletak pn da sedap da sbb asalnya kek nie diletak serbuk koko, so a little bit chocolaty...errmmm yummmy....Tapi...bila xletak warna merah, hilang lh keaslian dan kecantikan kek tue....mcm2 aih. Lebey baek ikut resepi asal, mungkin yg boley dilakukan hanyalah mengurangkan sedikit amount warna merah tue. Baru2 nie ada gak terjumpa satu blog nie, sumber dari kak KG (suka sgt blog nie)....aku terjumpa Blue VeLvet Cake....perghhhh mmng biru bebenor. tertarik gak, tp mcm seram jerk nk makan.....mungkkin satu masa nanti aku cuba buat gak.....

Red velvet Cake

Ingredients:
125g butter (at room T)
330g castor sugar (I kurangkan 10g...sedap2 je rasa)
2 eggs
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
250ml buttermilk
1 tbsp red food colouring (boleh ditambah jika mahukan warna yg lebey merah)
1 tsp distilled vinegar
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
Desicated coconut for frosting

Method
1. Pre-heat oven at 170'C and grease two 22cm or 8'in round cake tins
2. Beat butter, vanilla, sugar and egs until light and fluffy.
3. Stir in sifted flours, cocoa and the combined buttermilk and food colouring.
4. Combine vinegar and bicarbonate soda and left few mins to let it fizz and then fold in the cake mixture.
5. Divide the mixture in 2 pans and bake for ~ 35mins (depends on oven condition and type)

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
250g Phillea cheese
125g butter
1/2 cup icing sugar (Yg nie pn sesedap rasa)
2 tbsp whipping cream (yg nie i tukar dgn susu....sbb xde...hehehe)
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
Simple jer...cream butter and cream cheese. then add icing sugar and vanilla. Beat untill nice and fluffy and lastly add the whipping cream until well incorporated. rady to decorate......Nyum2.
